Make a group and go on an adventure together! Here are some suggested places to visit.

You should be able to get to these locations, enjoy some time, eat dinner, and get back in time for the evening activities.

Excursion times are Saturday and Sunday afternoon. You may wish to make plans to do more excursion activities on Monday on your own, as it is a free/travel day.

 

St Louis Gateway Arch

The Gateway Arch, Old Courthouse, and grounds of Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (JNEM) form a natural focal point for a vibrant downtown St. Louis. As an urban site, JNEM offers an oasis to visitors, near local attractions and restaurants. 

The Gateway Arch is a 630-foot (192 m) and is the world's tallest arch and the tallest man-made monument in the Western Hemisphere

St Louis Science Center

Focuses on hands-on learning with exhibits, experiments and classes showcasing many different kinds of science. Great educational experience including life-sized, animated models of T-Rex and Triceratops, a fossil lab, and exhibits on ecology and the environment. Experience MakerSpace exhibits, the OMNIMAX theater (separate admission fee), the Planetarium, and Outdoor Exhibits.

St Louis Zoo

MO Botanical Gardens

Creve Coeur Lake Park and Delmar Loop

2,145-acre (8.68 km2) County park including Creve Coeur Lake, the largest natural lake in Missouri. The park has facilities for picnicking, tennis courts, multi-purpose athletic fields, rental canoes ($10-$15 / hr), bicycles ($10/hr), kayaks, disc (Frisbee) golf course (Bring your own Frisbee), etc.
